| Rep. Ted Hoskins, a Democrat, represents part
of St. Louis County (District 80) in the Missouri House of
Representatives. He was elected to the House in November 2002. Rep. Hoskins retired in 2001 as manager of special financial projects. He is owner and CEO of T & L Automated Accounting Services. He also served in the United States Air Force, from which he received an honorable discharge. Rep. Hoskins was awarded the Making a Difference 2002 award from the Order of the Eastern Star; Citizen of the Year from Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; Homer G. Phillips Nurses Alumni award for political leadership; and the Community Service award from Alpha Lambda chapter. Rep. Hoskins has also been mentioned in the Who’s Who in Black St. Louis. Rep. Hoskins is a member of the following organizations: Black Elected County Officials (chairman); Missouri Legislative Black Caucus; First Congressional District (chairman); Missouri State Democratic Committee and Eastgate 95. He is also a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church in Kinloch, Mo. A graduate of South Hills High School, Rep. Hoskins received an associate’s degree in business administration from Florissant Valley Community College in 1973 and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in 1992. Born in Batesville, Rep. Hoskins resides in the City of Berkeley with his wife, Lee Etta Hoskins. They have three adult children: Rita, Pamela and Kelley. |
